Jennifer Garner was originally born in Houston Texas on 17 April in 1972. Her family was however raised within Charleston West Virginia. Her dad, William John Garner, was a chemical engineer at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann, her mother taught at a nearby college. The father of her was an engineer in the chemical industry, which is why she wanted to be similar to her father. To fulfill her ambition to be an actor and pursue her acting career, she decided to relocate to New York and try her acting career in the world of Hollywood. In addition to appearing on Broadway productions, she also worked as waitress. She was in a minor part on "Felicity" (where the show was where she also met Scott Foley).
