In the weeks that followed many students across the globe took part in Thunberg's #FridaysforFuture movement. Students took Friday off in protest against global warming. Climate activists all over the world took part in this Global Strike for Climate. The event was hugely successful. More than 1.6 million people from over 125 countries participated.
